Michael Reese Davis, age 70 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Melissa Jolley Davis of the home, seven children, Neil Eddings of Mooresboro, NC, Cass Davis (Debbie) of Shelby, NC, Tim Davis of Morganton, NC, Kenny Davis of Chesapeake, WV, Sam Davis of Swannanoa, NC, Misty Davis of Georgia, and Stacy Davis of Louisiana, three grandchildren, Avery, Briana, and Preston Eddings, a sister, Debbie Davis (Sonny) of Shelby, NC, and a sister-in-law, Marissa Smith (Chuck) of Denver, NC.

Born December 19, 1952, in Cleveland County, NC, Michael was the son of the late Billy Hamrick Davis and Betty Scism Davis. Michael farmed for more than 30 years in Lattimore. He enjoyed football, watching old westerns, and playing with his canine companions. Michael was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church where enjoyed his Men's Bible Study and Sunday School Class.
