Nancy Carolyn Champion Costner, 74 of 633 Sugarhill Road, Lawndale passed
away, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wendover Hospice House.

Born December 13, 1943 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Leonard Champion and Lela Hayes Champion. She was retired from Doran Mill
and was a member of Plainsview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin
Costner Bumgardner; two brothers, Loyd Champion and Danny Champion and two
sisters, Doris Brittain and Mary Elizabeth "Sis" Champion.

Survivors include her husband, of 57 years, Mark Ellis Costner; daughter,
Wanda Costner Ramsey of Fallston; brother, Bill Champion of Shelby; four
grandchildren, Nikki Cook (Jeff), Stacey McMurry (Elliott), Lindsey Lawson
(Shante) and Mark Bumgardner; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah Cook, Peyton
Cook, Bailee Cook, Olivia Ramsey, Preslee McMurry, Gaige Lawson, Laila
Lawson and Cash Lawson; special niece, Jane Lowman (Dennis) of Fallston.

The family would like to thank Dennis and Kelvin Brittain for all of the
kindness and support they have shown to them.

Visitation will be 2:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Bill Ewing and Mr. Andy Costner officiating.

Burial will follow in Plainsview Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, PO Box 639, Fallston NC 28042 to help with funeral
expenses.
