Naomi Jewell Holiday, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Shiloh, Ohio on May 19, 1939 to George and Sarah Gibson Jewell. Naomi was a loving and devoted wife for 55 years to the late Chalmer "Doc" Holiday, pastor of The Word of Truth Fellowship in Shelby, NC. She was a devout and dedicated Christian who loved her Lord, His Word, family, and church family with all of her heart. She loved her pets and had great compassion for everything and everyone. Shel will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and loved her, but they are comforted to know that she is home with Him, the God of all comfort, and her beloved husband. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she is preceded in death by her son, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sister, Leona Holiday; sons, Allen (Becky), Tony (Sharon), and Scott; daughters, Vonda Osborne (Bill), Cathy Browing (Brad), Darla Wybiral (Joe), and Tami Kenny (Steve); the lord blessed her with 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 9:00AM Monday, July 8, 2024 at Cleveland Memorial Park with Pastor Allen Holida officiating.
