Norman Eugene Bumgardner, 80, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 24, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born in Kings Mountain, NC, son of the late Wray Eugene and Ruth Hope Bumgardner. Norman retired from the metal fabrication industry. He was a member of Pisgah ARP Church in Gastonia. Norman was a generous man who loved helping others and never asked for anything in return. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly by his family and many friends.

Daughters: Laura Leigh Bumgardner, Kings Mountain, NC, Janiece Gregory (Randy), Savannah, GA, Debra Slaughenhaupt (Skip), Columbia, SC and Libby Huskins (Bob), Gastonia, NC

Grandchildren: Tyler Huskins, Gastonia, NC, Megan Huskins, Gastonia, NC, Kenny Gregory, Savannah, GA and Andrea Turner (Jeffrey), Gaffney, SC

Great Grandchild: Joseph Huskins, Gastonia, NC

Siblings: Barry Bumgardner (Jean) and L'Ange Chastain, both of Kings Mountain, NC

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: The family will hold a private burial on Thursday, January 28, 2021

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Pisgah ARP Church in Gastonia, NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
