Pamela Jean Owens Childers, 67, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Atrium Health - Pineville.

Pam was born in Cleveland County on November 25, 1956, and she was a daughter of the late William David and Lillian Hester Mellon Owens. She was a former seamstress and pet groomer. Pam was a member of Wallace Grove Baptist Church. Pam enjoyed crafting, fishing and camping.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years George Eddie Childers; a son, Bo Childers and wife Kaela of Lawndale; daughter, Wendy Dawson and husband Dwayne of Lawndale; brother, Ronnie Owens and wife Kathy of Casar; two sisters, Lillian Sue Hudson and Cathy Elaine Dotson and husband John all of Lawndale; six grandchildren, Skyler Tessneer and husband, Luke, Avery Childers, Tripp Childers, Eli Dawson, Natalie Childers and Lily Childers and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Cooper.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 15, 2024, in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Tessneer officiating.

The burial will follow in the Wallace Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
