SHELBY: Patricia Arelia Webb, born on January 9, 1951, in Gaston County, North Carolina, completed her earthly journey in her hometown on August 17, 2025, at the age of 74.
Throughout her life, Patricia was cherished for her warmth and kindness. Her career in the banking industry was marked by dedication and professionalism. Beyond her work, she was known for her generosity and caring nature, always ready to support her beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Patricia was an avid seamstress and had a passion for making exquisite floral arrangements for family and friends. A lover of dogs, she found joy and companionship in their presence. Patricia also had a deep love for travel, with Alaska holding a special place in her heart. She treasured the fall season in the mountains, finding peace and beauty in nature's transformation.
She was a devoted member of the Fraley Memorial Baptist Church in Gastonia, where her faith was an integral part of her life and provided her with strength and community.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Aaron Webb; her sister, Barbara Mosley; her brother, Thomas Webb; her niece, Cindy Barker; and her nephew, Daniel Mosley.
She is survived by her sister, Brenda Roehm; her nieces, Sandy Morrison and her husband Ben, Shelley Moore and her husband Eddie; her nephew, Tommy Webb Jr. and his wife Tammy; along with numerous great-nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory and carry her legacy of love and kindness forward.
Patricia Arelia Webb's life was a testament to the love and joy she shared with all who knew her. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family and friends, and her memory will forever remain in their hearts.
