Paul Andrew Lockett passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, in Spartanburg, SC, at the young age of 37.

Paul was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Verlee Roberts Mask, and step-grandfather, Gaither Mask, of Shelby, NC; his grandfather, Wilbert Mack Aldrich, of Gastonia, NC; his paternal grandparents, Ruby Johnson and Paul Lockett of Waco, NC; and his beloved niece, Zora Queen Youmans.
He is survived by his wife, Chasity Lockett of Spartanburg, SC; his father, Paul Lockett of Shelby, NC; his mother, Brenda Del Carmen Wray (Ivan Wray) of Kings Mountain, NC; and his step-grandmother, Alberta Aldrich of Gastonia, NC. He also leaves behind his two sons, Blair Lockett of Brooklyn, NY, and Zamir Fernandez of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Alexis Youmans (Japheth Youmans) of Chesapeake, VA, and Destiny Lockett of Charlotte, NC; and one nephew, Japheth "Jay Jay" Youmans Jr. of Chesapeake, VA. He will be deeply missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and his lifelong best friend, Alonzo Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
