Peggy Dianne Hutchins Darnell, 77, passed away Saturday June 15, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on April 27, 1947, she was the son of the late Mutt and Evelyn Hutchins. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandson Hank Fender.

Peggy is survived by her husband Jerry "Ted" Darnell, son Scott (Katie) Tesseneer, daughter Starla (Max) Torres, daughter Leisa (Tom) Fender and son Eric Darnell, as well as her brother in law Joe (Sandy) Darnell and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

To honor the life of Mrs. Darnell the family will hold services privately.
