Ralph Eulan McKee, 78, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Hospice Wendover in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County on January 21, 1945, he was the son of the late Arthur Ulan McKee and Sallie Runyans McKee. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, William Fletcher McKee and Charles Douglas McKee as well as his sister Betty McKee Huntsinger and nephew Mike Huntsinger.

Ralph is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years Aree Willis McKee, his loving sons; Matthew McKee (Lori B.), Mark McKee (Lori C.), Andrew McKee, Jeffrey Brooks (Lisa) and loving daughter Tessa Waldrep (Brad). He is also survived by his loving sisters, Sandra Patterson (late husband John) and Amy Jones (Clarence). Also left to cherish his memory are his six loving grandchildren, Grayson, Bryson, Ben, Chandler, Macy, Marley, six nieces and four nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held 6:00 PM Monday, July 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 5 - 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to an organization of the donor's choice.
