Reba Ledford Toney, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 3, 2021.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Toney (Dianne) and Darrell Toney, both of Mooresboro, NC, three grandchildren, Tina Craighead (Blake) of Huntersville, NC, Tracy Piercey (Richard) of Lattimore, NC, and April Sperling of Mooresboro, NC, 6 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Born in Cleveland County on November 8, 1932, Reba was the daughter of the late Roy Washington Ledford and Winnie Alexander Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Rev. Lawrence Toney.

Reba loved to cook and sew. She enjoyed making quilts and sharing them with friends and family.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2:00pm at Goodes Grove Baptist Church with a visitation held one hour prior. A burial will follow at Gantts Grove Baptist Church.

The family would like to give their greatest appreciation to Linda Stroup, her niece, for the love and care she showed Reba during her illness.
