Richard Roscoe McNeilly,73 of Jesse Mountain Road, Casar, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023.

Born in Cleveland County, on February 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Roscoe Adam McNeilly and Nancy Geneva Johnson McNeilly. Richard was retired from Cleveland Vocational Industries and was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Edith Daphene McNeilly; brother, Ronnie McNeilly of Casar and a sister, Evelyn Peeler and husband, Roger of Connelly Springs; nephew and niece, Benny Peeler and Lisa Kimball and husband, Corey and two great niece and nephew, Addy Kimball and Evan Kimball.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2:00pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Terrill Crump officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
