Richard Talmadge Wallace, 75, of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Atrium Health - Pineville.

Born in Cleveland County, on April 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Hugh Talmadge Wallace and Georgia Vashti Richards Wallace. Richard was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway and also enjoyed playing golf and the Sports Car Club of America.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Wallace Costner.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Toni Julianne Williams Wallace; two sons, William Talmadge Wallace of Charlotte and David Evans Wallace and wife Shannon of Charlotte; and.twin grandchildren, Ian Talmadge Wallace and Wendy Lyons Wallace.
