Ricky Dean Boone, 59, died Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home surrounded by His Family.

A native of Cleveland County, He was the son of the late Jerry and Mary Ethel Boone. Ricky enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going on many adventures. He is survived by His wife of 16 years, Pamela Belt Boone of the home; son, Tylor Boone (Anna) of Shelby; daughters, Christy Braswell (Robbie), April Puckett all of Kings Mountain, and Elizabeth Ledford of Gastonia; brother, Jeffrey Boone of Kings Mountain; sister, Robin Boone of Kings Mountain; Brother In Laws, Bill Belt (Linda) of Dallas, Rick Belt (Diane) of Gastonia, Steve Belt (Frances) of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, James and Hunter Boone of Shelby, Lindsey, Amber (Brian), Katelyn (Heath), Kale Braswell, Avel, Reannia (Will), Chelsey Anderson (Paul); and Seven great grandchildren. A receiving of friend's visitation will be held Monday, January 1, 2024, at Clay-Barnette Funeral home of Kings Mountain from 5-7PM. Funeral services will be held 2PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Kings Mountain with the Revs. David Mellon and Kevin Whitting officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
