Ricky Lee Wright passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at his home in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on April 21, 1959 he was the son of the late Shirley Ann Morgan Wright and James Lee Wright. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Dorcas and Fred Morgan, as well as, Everett and Nan Wright.

He is survived by his sister, Starr Wright Walker (Lee), his niece Jade Walker and nephew Javan Walker. Also left to cherish his memory are his children, Heather, Hannah and Holden.
