Robert "Bo" Terry Canipe, 61 of Will Hudson Road, Connelly Springs, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory.

Born in Burke County, NC on August 5, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert Clayton Canipe and Lucy Elizabeth Jordan Canipe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jane Dowdle.

Survivors include his sister, Catherine Yancey and husband, Jerry of Connelly Springs; niece, Kristen Bollinger and husband, Scott and their children, Ayden and Lincoln; nephew, Clay Dowdle and wife, Jennifer and their children, Grayson, Addley and Brooke; special friend, James Cook and a number of cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church - Connelly Springs.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Price officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
