Robert Eugene Mathis, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 while at Foothills Hospice in Forest City, NC.

He was preceded in death by both father and mother, Billy Eugene and Betty McGinnis Mathis; first wife, Melinda Lail Mathis in 1979, second wife, Janice Mathis 2022.

He is survived by his daughter, "Shooting Star", Tosha Melinda Lee and husband, Todd Lee; son, Robert Eugene Mathis, Jr. and wife, Jennifer Scism Mathis; son, Curtis Hill and wife, Tara Hill; 3 grandchildren, Lydia Josephine Mathis, Logan Hill and Pamela Hill; special friends, Todd and Crystal Blanton; brother, Dale Jones; special furbaby his dog, Lopa.

Special "Thanks" to Todd and Crystal Blanton for his continued care and for Janice Mathis as well.

Flowers and food may be sent to daughters home.
