Robert "Keith" Morris, 62, of the Moriah Community, Casar passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte following a battle with ALS.

Born in Cleveland County, on April 18, 1962, he was the son of Helen Taylor Morris Eaker and Hugh of the Moriah Community and the late Robert Wayne Morris. He was retired from Conway Freight after 29 years of service. Keith was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church and Casar Masonic Lodges 579. He also enjoyed going to tractor pulls, watching NASCAR, and loved riding his motorcycle. Keith will be remembered for his caring and compassionate smile for everyone he met.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, McKenzie Morris and his grandparents, Howard and Ruth Morris and Rev. Tommy and Jean Bagwell Taylor.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Robin Darty Morris; son Devin Morris and wife Amanda of Casar; daughter, Lacie Morris of Casar; two stepsons, Michael Clinton and wife Jessica of Cherryville and Wesley Clinton of Cherryville sister, Lisa Lutz and husband Chris of Moriah; two stepbrothers, Jessie Eaker and wife Becky of Richmond, VA, Fred Eaker and wife Sharon of Cherryville; stepsister, Lynn Lail and husband James of Cherryville and three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kinley & Clayton Morris.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM In the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Cook and Rev. Jason Elmore officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park with Masonic graveside rites.
