Ronnie Dale Parker, 65, of Shelby passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. He was the son of Glenn Odell Parker, Sr. and the late Germaine Haynes Parker. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Glenn "Pud" Odell Parker, Jr.

Most knew Ronnie as a simple man. Faith and family defined him and his heart was a fountain of genuine kindness. He loved watching his family play sports, talking football, and ministering in his own authentic way. Ronnie took great pride in his work and was employed at STI in Kings Mountain for over 20 years.

Ronnie is survived by his brother, Danny Parker (Brenda), nieces Megan and Macy, son, Andrew Parker, daughter, Amy Parker Johnson (Ben), grandchildren, Parker and Josie.

He is survived by the love of his life of 25 years, Jackie Greene, her daughters, Shelly Miller (Steve), Tammy Greene, and Beth Bailes (Dean), her grandchildren, Brandi (Chad), Matt, Josh, Wesley, Ian, and a special great grandchild, Tucker.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM at Cecil Burton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2:30 PM.

Ronnie cared deeply, loved unconditionally, and will be missed beyond words. Though gone, his character shines through his children, grandchildren, and all those he loved.
