Rubye Yount Randall, 76, of Vale, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory.

Born in Lincoln County, on March 25, 1947, she was a daughter of the late David Alonzo Yount and Margaret Tallent Faw. She was a retired school bus driver for West Lincoln High School and was also a truck driver for CRS Hauling.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Shawn Buff; a granddaughter, Rachel Kingsley and a sister, Margaret Ellis

She is survived by her son, Chris Buff and wife Lisa of Vale; a daughter, Terri Jenkins and husband James of Vale; four grandchildren, Aaron Buff, Allison Buff, Nathan Kingsley and Jared Kingsley; and great grandson, Colby, Aiden, Lorelai, Autumn, Evelyn and Gracie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the animal charity of the donors choice.
