Sara Ellen Honeycutt Hamrick, 94, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at White Oak Manor Shelby, NC.

She is the daughter of the late Earl Douglas and Ethel Honeycutt, graduated from Shelby High School and Salem College with a Bachelor of Music in 1951. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sally Hamrick of Raleigh, NC and brother Earl Honeycutt, Jr and is survived by daughter Rebecca Hamrick of Wilmington, NC.

Sara Ellen loved her family, church, friends, playing music, tennis, bridge, and her career teaching piano.

She will be remembered for her honesty, sincerity and especially her kindness.
