Sharod Mitchell was born November 18, 1989 to Bobbie M. Mitchell and George Lamar Wiggins in Cleveland County, NC.

He departed this life on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Sharod will be remembered by taking care of his family.
Sharod worked for Vallen in Belmont, NC. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and others (He never met a stranger.) His hobbies included riding his motorcycle with his friends, spending time with his children and friends, playing cards and sports.
He was a member at Faith Harvest Church where he gave his life back to Christ. He enjoyed the fellowship at church.
Brother Sharod was preceded in death by his grandfather's Bishop Bobby Joe Mitchell, George Wiggins Sr.; Grandmother Nettie Wiggins; Great-grandmother Carrie Mitchell; Great-grandfather Willie Mitchell; Uncle Joseph Mitchell, Uncle Tracey Mitchell; sister Ashley Wiggins, and son Colby Harris.
Sharod was a loving and devoted father, uncle, brother, son, and friends.
Sharod leaves to cherish his Mother Bobbie M. Mitchell;Grandmother Patricia W. Mitchell;Father George L. Wiggins; daughter Chole House; three sons Sharod Mitchell Jr., Landon and Leon Harris; his fiancé' Autumn Harris, his son Waylen Hillman; two brothers Christopher Mitchell, Adrian Wiggins; one sister India Wiggins; three aunts Minister Venise (Bishop Stephen) Brintley, Diane (Johnny) Petty, Kimberly Parks; special friends Patrick Mitchell , Wylie Petty, Arthiando Phillips, Steven Mitchell , and Shun Gregory; two nieces Jaiden Mitchell and Adalynn Conard and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins,and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church with the reception of family and friends beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Temple.
