Sherry Lou Hampton Hallam, 78, passed away April 30, 2024 at her home in Shelby, NC.

Born in South Haven, Michigan on December 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Jackie Hampton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Janice Westerman.

Sherry is survived by her son Andrew Hallam and his wife Sarah a. Also left to cherish her memory is her sister Susan Greene.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 4, 2024 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Sims officiating. The family will hold a private burial at Sunset Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund 606 S. Dekalb Street Shelby, NC 28150.
