Staria Lavonne Parrott Littlejohn

Mrs. Staria Lavonne Parrott Littlejohn, 66, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland. She was the daughter of the late Randolph Howard Parrott, Sr. and Mary Gladys Stewart Parrott in Cleveland County, NC, on July 1, 1957. Staria was the eighth of twelve children.
Shegraduated from Shelby High School and Cleveland Community College. She was employed at J.P. Stephens, Artee Industries, and Polygram. Staria enjoyed playing cards, especially spades. She was hailed as the Crazy 8 champion!
She was a member Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, her family's home church for nine years. Staria was fun loving and had a heart of gold. She was a strong, selfless individual, always giving to others. She had an energetic and loving personality.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Minnie Pearl Rudisill, Stacey Paul Parrot, Wayne Nathan Parrott, and Harold Dean Parrot.
She leaves to cherish precious memories to her husband of 33 years, Jimmy Littlejohn; sons, Dwight Wilson, Jr. and Orlando Littlejohn, both of Shelby, NC; step children, Jimmy O. Littlejohn of Wilmington, NC, Travis Littlejohn and Cordia Littlejohn, both of Shelby, NC; grandchildren, Christal Littlejohn, Alissa Littlejohn, Genovaz D. Wilson; god-daughter, Miracle Jones; siblings, Rosa Rose of Upper Marlboro, MD, Robbie Lee and Deborah Howell, both of Shelby, NC, Randolph Howard Parrot, Jr. (Annette) and Mary Ross, of Waco, NC, Cheryl Hopper (Patrick) of Cherryville, NC, Karen Bonner (Rev. W. Scott) of Lanham, MD; special niece, Lakeva Parrott of Germany; in laws, Calvin Littlejohn, Thomas Littlejohn, Michael Littlejohn; Steve Littlejohn, Derrick Littlejohn, and Mark Littlejohn; special friends, Jennie Sue Wilson and Christine Ashe, and Santa Jones; and a host of other family, relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel at 3:00 p.m. The reception of family and friends will be from 2:30 until 3:00 p.m.
