Steven Clyde Sain

Steven Clyde Sain, 70, of Cutter Court, Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Atrium Health - Main, Charlotte.

Born in Cleveland County, on February 13, 1954, he was a son of the late Clyde Franklin Sain and Iva Turner Sain. He was a retired master upholster having worked at Drexel Heritage, Ethan Allen, and Sugar Hill Upholstery. Steve was also given the task to make a set of leather chairs for the White House for Ronald and Nancy Reagan. He also loved antique cars and tractors.

He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Larea Bumgardner Sain; a brother, Michael Sain and wife Elaine of Polkville; two sisters, Diane Sain Heavner of Casar and Kay Hager and husband William of Charlotte, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
