Stevie Cannon, 60, of Shelby, NC passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Wendover Hospice House in

Shelby. He was born on September 26, 1963 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Elbert Cannon and Dorothy Raper Cannon.
Stevie was a 1981 graduate of Shelby High School. He loved his family and was always the life of the party. He taught us all to never give up!
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Valarie Cannon Camp; his grandparents, James and Ida Cannon and grandparents, Hubert Raper and Dorothy Beam (Lewis).
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his wife, Stephanie W. Cannon; three sisters, Barbara Cannon, Patricia Cannon and Vanessa Cannon all of Shelby; one brother Alvin "Rico' Cannon (Damitra); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, four stepsons, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Shelby NC at 11:30 a.m.
