Tammy Michele Mauney Watts, 54, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Lakeside Health & Rehab Center in Huntersville, NC.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Barbara Cook, Loy White, Edith and Glenn Haynes.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Layla Grace Watts, her parents, Ann Mitchell and Tommy Mauney, stepmother, Karen Mauney, stepbrother Christopher Mauney. Linda McGrath, Deborah and Scott Withers Sr., Meghan Withers, Scott Withers Jr. and wife, Maddie.

Tammy was a dental assistant for 30+ years, she loved what she did each day. More importantly her daughter was the light of her life. She was the most loving, patient, sweetest mom in the world. They were involved in church and said their prayers each night. She loved to bake and have Layla as her helper, she was great at crafts. She was so full of life and loved by many.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 14, 2024 in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Rev. Renee Bingham offering words of encouragement for those in attendance. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held privately following the service.
