Teddy Paul Marshall Migues

Teddy Paul Marshall Migues, age 85, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

Teddy was born Friday, December 9, 1938 in Iberia Parrish, Louisiana to the late Bertrand Migues and Loula David Migues. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. During the war, he worked as a helicopter mechanic and would fly the recently repaired helicopters to assure the safety of the pilots. Teddy also operated a tugboat in the Gulf of Mexico and worked as a lifeguard on the beach. Later, he worked in the construction of gas and water pipelines for many years. He was a dedicated Catholic who served as a Deacon and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Teddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, woodworking and held the distinction of bowling several perfect 300 games. He was involved with helping young people build their skills in fishing as an instructor for the Connestee Falls Fishing Club. Teddy lived a full life of adventure and faith. He was dedicated to his God, his family and his country.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-four years, Carolyn Olivia Woodward Migues; daughter, Vicki Migues-Jordan (Mary) of Baltimore, Maryland, J.C. Migues (Lisa) of Stonewall, Louisiana, Terry Migues (Danna) of Mooresboro; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be conducted.
