Thana Frances Hudson, age 79 , of Casar, passed away on Saturday, September 7th, 2024.
Thana a native Cleveland County, was born on April 16th, 1945. Thana was the daughter of the late Clevie and Gladys Hudson. In addition to her parents, Thana was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Larry Hudson, one son, Roger Hudson, five brothers, Rayford, Louie, John, Richard, and Floyd Ledford, as well as two sisters, Evelyn Parrish and Josephine Ledford.
Thana is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Lytle and her husband Ronnie, and Donna Mellon and her husband, Keith; two sisters, Hilda Beattie and Irene Houser; three grandchildren, Kelli Wortman and her husband, Jonathan, Nicki Ingle and her husband, Michael, Jr., and Luke Lytle and his girlfriend, Ivy Whisnant; four great grandchildren, Baker and Scarlett Wortman and Waylon and Lainey Ingle.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 , at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm , at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston, NC.
A funeral service to remember the life of Thana will be held on Thursday, September 12th, 2024 at11:00 am at New Home Church 544 Moriah School Rd Casar, NC 28020 with the Rev. Kevin Fulbright, officiating. Internment will follow immediately after the service in the New Home Church Cemetery.
