Theodore "Ted" Edward Parizo

Theodore "Ted" Edward Parizo, 74, of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, passed away on August 26th, 2024 at Robin Johnson House in Dallas, North Carolina.

Born September 26th, 1949 in Middletown, Connecticut, he was son of the late Bernard Parizo and Mary Mandigo and was also preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Ingalls, and grandson Josh Whitesides. Ted served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, then worked for many years as a contract builder in the Wilmington/Topsail Island area. His family remembers a renaissance man: amateur astronaut, avid inventor and tinkerer, and a man who wore a hat for 38 years straight. Ted could spot a lemon car or lawn mower from a mile away--and he usually wound up buying them. He loved motorcycles and long rides in the country and always had an eye for architectural features. Ted loved the ocean and the coastal lifestyle. He was a loving father and grandfather whose humor and zest for life will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
