Thomas Dean Alexander, 71, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on November 12, 1952, he was the son of the late Sarah Effie Self Alexander. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Ricky Alexander, as well as two sisters, Wanda Griffin and Kay Clary.

Thomas is survived by his son Charles Thomas Alexander (Janet), two brothers David Alexander (Lorraine), Jerry Alexander, sister Jane Mayhue and sister-in-law, Rhonda Alexander. Also left to cherish his memory are his two grandsons, Zachary Gage Alexander and Thomas John Alexander as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Miles and Pastor Joseph Porter offering words of encouragement for those in attendance. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM prior to the service.
