Thomas Larry Roberts age 68 died Friday, March 4, 2016 at his home. Born in Cleveland County on November 14, 1947 he was the son of the late Donald Grey and Betty Wright Roberts. Larry was a sergeant in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He retired from Fiber Industries. Larry enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Don Roberts Jr.

Larry is survived by a daughter, Tiffini Hovis and husband Mark Stimson of Shelby, and a grandson, Trevor Hovis of Shelby.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Cleveland Memorial Park.
