Thomas Vincent Nowaczyk, Sr. passed away on September 13, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and was born May 29, 1939, the son of the late John J. and Rita McDevitt Nowaczyk.

Thomas was an Army veteran and loved going to the shore, the racetrack and playing cards. He also enjoyed browsing at flea markets, singing, old movies, watching football and he loved dogs. Mostly, Thomas loved spending time with his family.

Thomas is survived by his children, Deborah Silvetti (Jim), Thomas Nowaczyk, Jr Christopher Nowaczyk (Beth), Michelle Ginder (Ray), and Andrea Miskell (Morgan); brother, Jack Novak, Joseph Novak (Barbara); 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Buchheim Nowaczyk and sister-in-law, Joan Novak.

A viewing will be at Holy Innocents Church, L Street & E. Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124. Receiving of family and friends will be at 10 AM - 11:00 Am, followed by mass at 11:00 AM.
