Timothy Lenail Huskey, 53, born on December 31, 1970 transitioned from his early home at Atrium Health in Lincolnton, NC to rest in the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

He was born to the late Robert Lee Strong and Gwendolyn H. Bennett.
He attended Crest High School and Cleveland Community College. He worked as a mechanic for Shelby Auto. In addition, he pulled parts for Shelby Auto Spa until his health declined.
To know Tim was a great pleasure. He was always good to whomever he met. Tim was willing to go that extra mile for anyone. Tim had a heart of gold and he loved his family, fishing, football (Dallas Cowboys), dancing and drag racing.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, AD Huskey and Matilda Huskey; one sister, Renee Wray; two aunts, Silvia Huskey and Sadie Huskey; two uncles, Samuel Huskey and William Huskey.
He leaves to church his memory; one sister, Geisha Huskey of Shelby, NC; four brothers, Russell Huskey (Ruth) of Kings Mountain, NC, Michael Strong, Bobby Hargrove and Jay Jackson (Caroline) all of Shelby, NC; two aunts, Jeanette Byers and Margie Gordon of Shelby, NC; special cousins, Day Burris and Kenneth (Smack) Wilson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Shoal Creek Baptist Churcin Shelby, NC at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take at the church.
