Troyce Dean Brindel Smart-McSwain, 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 06, 2024 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.

Troyce was born on June 24, 1943 in Washington, GA and was the daughter of the late Arvel Denton Brindel and Doris Elmira Teasley Brindel. She was retired from Fiber Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by first husband Gordon Eugene Smart and a brother, Tony A. Brindel.

Troyce is survived by her husband, Bobby Gene McSwain, five sons, Herman Meetze, Mike Meetze, Denton Meetze, Lonnie Holland, and Steve Holland; a daughter, Danielle Smart Guthrie; a brother James A. Brindel as well as twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM - !2:00 Noon at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 11th at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Wade Dellinger officiating. Interment will in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
