Venesia Epps transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Atrium Health Cleveland.

She was born on March 15, 1971, to the late Roberta Gill and late June Whitener in Cleveland County.
Venesia loved cooking and eating. She loved being with her grandchildren, watching them grow up. She was a faithful member and Sunday school participant at Patterson Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Donovan W. Gill; brothers, Connington Whitener and Deannie Gill; great grandparents Walter Gill and Mary Byers Gill.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Christopher M. Gill (Ebony), and Donald R. Gill; brothers, Retired Sergeant Major Harold Lee Gill (Carol); Jackie Franklin Gill; grandchildren, Nataria Gill, Chrisshonna Gill, Kamya Watkins, Kalise Nichols, Aalayshia Gill, Samarr Gill, Donovan Gill, Jr., Zay'ron Gidney, E'Lon Gidney, and Nova Gill; special sister, Samantha Curry; special friend, Latasha Marble; god son, Ja'Quavious Craig; special cousins, Laura Williamson and Sherrie Proctor; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Patterson Springs Baptist Church and burial was in the church cemetery. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of services.
