Vincent "Vince" Harold Bowman, 57, of Hicks Hill Rd., Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 19, 1963, he was the son of the late Harold "Bud" Glenn Bowman and Bobbie Jean Lutz Bowman. Vince had worked for Puralator, Woodchuck and Cleveland Mills. He attended St. Peter's United Methodist Church. Vince loved to garden and was known for his vegetables. He would say, "If you plant a seed, you have to know who God is".
Survivors include his wife, Christy Sain Bowman; son, Levi Bowman and girlfriend, Caroline Yount; sister, Vickie B. Furlough and husband Jim of Columbia, NC and a special dog "Kathy".
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at St. Peters United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm at St. Peters United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Elwell officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the St. Peter's United Methodist Church Cemetery.
