Virginia Merle (Champion) Bush, age 71 of Taylors, SC, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Floyd Bush of the home, her two children, Floyd Eugene Bush, II and wife Auburn of Taylors, SC, and Steven Lane Curtis of Shelby, NC, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four brothers, Bill, Joe, David, and Glenn, two sisters, Susan and Kathy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born March 2, 1953, in Cleveland County, NC, Virginia was the daughter of the late Ralph and Colette (Washburn) Champion.
Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed walking and exercising because she loved to bake and eat sweet desserts. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Tommy Buchanan. A visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. A burial will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park
