William Dale Wright, 65, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on October 10, 1958, he was the son of the late William Wright and Stella Allen Wright. In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Wright and son Jacob Wright.

Dale is survived by his wife of more than 40 years Janice Ivie Wright, their two daughters, Heather Wright and Ivie Wright (Wesley Nodine), as well as four grandchildren, Gracin, Kyndall, Bentley, Brayden.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2024 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerome Cash officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
