William Eugene "Gene" Michael Radford

Gene Radford, 47, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 03, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born in Gaston County, NC, and was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Radford Jr.

Gene worked at CBM in Bessemer City, NC for 26 years. He loved woodworking and working with his hands, creating detailed crafts for his family and friends. Gene enjoyed reading, story telling, studying conspiracy theories and working on his jeep. He was a very joyous person and loved making people laugh with his never ending supply of jokes. Gene loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who will be missed greatly by his entire family and many friends.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 28 years: Stacy Yarbrough Radford, of the home

Daughters: Taylor Turner (Matthew) and Sydnee Radford, both of Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Jaxxon, Madelyn, and Hannah Turner

Parents: Dennis and Frances Harward Radford

Siblings: Neil Radford (Heather) and Kelley Radford

Sister-in-law: Kelly Robinson (Danny)

Nieces and Nephews: Corey Vickers, Ariel Locklear, Kylee Jackson, Becca Woodward (Eric), Jordyn Robinson, and Dannah Blackburn (Justin)

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church with Reverend Dennis Wells officiating

VISITATION: Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home

A private family graveside will be held
